India Post GDS Recruitment 2026
ભારતીય ટપાલ વિભાગ દ્વારા Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Online Engagement Schedule-II, July-2026 માટે સત્તાવાર નોટિફિકેશન જાહેર કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. આ ભરતીમાં Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) અને Dak Sevak જેવી પોસ્ટ માટે લાયક ઉમેદવારો પાસેથી ઓનલાઈન અરજીઓ મંગાવવામાં આવી છે.
આ ભરતી માટે ઉમેદવારોએ ઓનલાઈન અરજી કરવાની રહેશે. One-Time Registration (OTR) માટે 31 ઓગસ્ટ 2026થી 19 સપ્ટેમ્બર 2026 સુધીનો સમય આપવામાં આવ્યો છે, જ્યારે ઓનલાઈન અરજી અને ફી ભરવાની અંતિમ તારીખ 21 સપ્ટેમ્બર 2026 સાંજે 5:00 વાગ્યા સુધી છે. અરજીમાં સુધારા માટે 23 અને 24 સપ્ટેમ્બર 2026ના રોજ Correction Window આપવામાં આવશે.

India Post GDSમાં કઈ પોસ્ટ છે?
1. Branch Postmaster (BPM)
BPMનું કામ Branch Post Officeની દૈનિક કામગીરી, India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) સંબંધિત કામગીરી, પોસ્ટલ સેવાઓ તથા અન્ય સોંપવામાં આવેલી કામગીરીનું સંચાલન કરવાનું હોય છે. BPM તરીકે પસંદ થયેલા ઉમેદવારે Branch Post Office માટે જરૂરી accommodation પોતાના ખર્ચે વ્યવસ્થા કરવાની રહેશે અને પોસ્ટ ગામમાં રહેવાની શરત પણ છે.
2. Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)
ABPM દ્વારા સ્ટેમ્પ/સ્ટેશનરીનું વેચાણ, પોસ્ટની ડિલિવરી, IPPBના deposit/payment transactions અને BPMને પોસ્ટલ કામગીરીમાં સહાય જેવી કામગીરી કરવામાં આવે છે.
3. Dak Sevak
Dak Sevakને Post Office, Sorting Office, Mail Office, Transit Mail Office અને Delivery Centre વગેરે સ્થળોએ વિવિધ પોસ્ટલ કામગીરી સોંપવામાં આવી શકે છે. તેમાં mail તથા parcel handling, delivery, stamps/stationery અને IPPB સંબંધિત કામગીરીનો સમાવેશ થાય છે.
GDS Recruitment 2026 માટે ઉંમર મર્યાદા
ઉમેદવારની ઉંમર ઓછામાં ઓછી 18 વર્ષ અને વધુમાં વધુ 40 વર્ષ હોવી જોઈએ.
- SC/ST ઉમેદવારો – 5 વર્ષ
- OBC ઉમેદવારો – 3 વર્ષ
- EWS – કોઈ upper age relaxation નહીં
- PwBD – 10 વર્ષ
- PwBD + OBC – 13 વર્ષ
- PwBD + SC/ST – 15 વર્ષ
શૈક્ષણિક લાયકાત
GDS ભરતી માટે ઉમેદવાર પાસે માન્ય બોર્ડમાંથી ધોરણ 10નું Secondary School Examination (SSE) પાસ પ્રમાણપત્ર હોવું જરૂરી છે.
ધોરણ 10માં Mathematics અને Englishમાં passing marks હોવા જરૂરી છે. ઉમેદવારે જે પોસ્ટ માટે અરજી કરવી છે તે સંબંધિત Local Language ધોરણ 10 સુધી અભ્યાસ કરેલી હોવી જોઈએ.

GDS કર્મચારીઓને Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) પ્રમાણે remuneration આપવામાં આવે છે. TRCAમાં નિયમો મુજબ દર વર્ષે 3%નો વધારો થઈ શકે છે અને Dearness Allowance પણ લાગુ પડે છે.
નોંધ: GDSને regular Central Government employee સમાન ગણવામાં આવતા નથી અને તેમની service conditions તથા entitlements regular Central Government employeesથી અલગ છે.
Application Fee
GDS ભરતી માટે સામાન્ય રીતે ₹100 અરજી ફી છે.
નીચેના ઉમેદવારોને feeમાંથી છૂટ આપવામાં આવી છે:

GDS Selection Process
આ ભરતીમાં પસંદગી માટે system-generated merit list તૈયાર કરવામાં આવશે. Merit મુખ્યત્વે ધોરણ 10ની Secondary School Examinationમાં મેળવેલા marks/gradesના આધારે તૈયાર થશે.
અર્થાત્, આ notification પ્રમાણે 10thના marks ખૂબ મહત્વના છે.
GDS Merit Listમાં Tie થાય તો શું થશે?
જો બે અથવા વધુ ઉમેદવારોના meritમાં tie થાય તો notificationમાં DOB અને category/gender આધારિત priority order આપવામાં આવ્યો છે.

GDS Online Application કેવી રીતે કરવી?
Step 1: One-Time Registration
સૌપ્રથમ GDS Online Engagement Portal પર registration કરવાનું રહેશે. Registration માટે active mobile number અને email ID જરૂરી છે અને બંને OTP દ્વારા verify કરવામાં આવશે.
Step 2: Personal Details
Name, Date of Birth, Father/Guardian Name, Mother Name, Community વગેરે details ભરવાની રહેશે.
ખાસ ધ્યાન રાખવું: Name, Father Name, Mother Name અને Date of Birth વગેરે વિગતો 10th marksheet પ્રમાણે જ ભરવાની રહેશે.
Step 3: Educational Details
10thનું Board, passing year અને marks ભરવાના રહેશે.
Step 4: Division અને Post Preference
તમારી eligibility પ્રમાણે ઉપલબ્ધ Division અને postsમાંથી preference પસંદ કરવાની રહેશે.
Step 5: Photo અને Signature Upload
Notificationમાં જણાવેલી size અને format પ્રમાણે photograph તથા signature upload કરવાની રહેશે.
Step 6: Preview
Final submit કરતા પહેલાં આખું application form Preview/Print કરીને તમામ details ચેક કરવી.
Step 7: Fee Payment
Fee લાગુ પડતી હોય તો online payment કરવાનું રહેશે અને ત્યારબાદ application final submit કરવી.

Application Correction
Online applicationની છેલ્લી તારીખ પછી 2 દિવસની correction window આપવામાં આવશે. આ સમય દરમિયાન કેટલીક registration/application details, marks અને preference વગેરેમાં correction કરી શકાય છે.
પરંતુ Mobile Number અને Email ID modify કરી શકાશે નહીં.
